This gives you the freedom to just enjoy yourselves without worrying about little details. Remember why your guests are there! To celebrate your relationship and your reunion. You are not responsible for their enjoyment, only yours, they are there to enhance your day. We highly recommend you let your guests know the order of the day (what is happening and when), signpost anything important (example - where there is a bar if you are having one) and let them get on with it.
Don’t sweat the small stuff. The main components of your wedding are: you, your partner, the legalities of getting married and clean underwear, the rest is what we call ‘gravy’ - added extras to personalise your day but don’t affect the focus of your special day - getting married!
