📝 Important – Giving Notice to Marry in the UK
To legally marry in the UK, you must give notice at your local registration office at least 29 days before your wedding. You don’t need to visit Devon to do this.

How Quickly Can You Legally Get Married in the UK?
If you’re hoping to get married quickly in the UK, the legal minimum is usually 29 days after giving notice. Before you can give notice, you will need to have your wedding venue booked and a provisional ceremony time agreed with the registrar.
Once you have chosen Tree Top Escape and secured your date with us, we will guide you through the next steps. You can then contact the registrar to check availability and arrange your notice appointment at your local register office.
Many couples are surprised how quickly everything can come together once the venue is confirmed. Because we specialise in intimate weddings, we’re very used to helping couples plan beautiful, relaxed celebrations within a shorter timescale.
