These terms are often used interchangeably, and honestly, at Tree Top Escape we don't mind what you call it!

An elopement traditionally means just the two of you (or a tiny handful of people), a micro wedding usually means up to around 12–16 guests, and an intimate wedding sits somewhere in between.

What they all have in common is a focus on what actually matters — your love, your vows, and a day that feels completely, unapologetically you.

We cater for all of these, from a romantic elopement for two up to 14 guests.

Neither is compulsory! Entirely up to you.

You can elope with just the two of you and your registrar, or bring up to 14 of your closest people. You do not even have to decide right away — you can add guests up to your wedding day.

We're also happy to act as your witnesses if you'd prefer to keep it just the two of you — no need to rope in a colleague or distant cousin.

Our Day Wedding
A day only package that includes your ceremony and a Devon cream tea — perfect if you want something simple and affordable.

Our Intimate Wedding Package A fully inclusive, multi-day experience with exclusive use of the venue and overnight stays in the luxury Tree House for the wedding couple.

Despite the name, Tree Top Escape is entirely on one level with no stairs anywhere on the venue.

It's one of those happy accidents of the design that makes it genuinely accessible in a way that many venues — grand or otherwise — simply aren't.

Your four-legged family members are genuinely welcome, including during the ceremony, and we welcome two dogs to stay in the Tree House.

Many of our couples wouldn't dream of getting married without their dog by their side, and neither would we ask them to.

Absolutely. We welcome babies, toddlers, and children of all ages.

We know that for many couples, having their little ones present — whether as flower girl, ring bearer, or chief confetti thrower — is non-negotiable, and we love it.

The Tree House sleeps up to 4. The second bedroom can be a double or twin, and we can provide a travel cot on request.
